THOMAS, Eva - Putnam

Mrs. Eva Thomas, age 61 years, wife of Aaron Thomas of West Walnut Street, Greencastle passed away at her home Monday evening. She is survived by the husband and five children: Mrs. OT Ellis, Greencastle; Mrs. Margaret Clark, Brazil; Charles L. Thomas; Frank Thomas and Levi Thomas, all of near Lena; two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Brown who made her home with Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Rebecca Aker of near Lena; 20 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Mrs. Thomas was a life-long resident of Putnam County and was a member of the Baptist Church at Otter Creek. The funeral services will be held at Rector’s Thursday morning at 10 o’clock with interment in the mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery. - kbz
